High Performance Maintenance CAD & Fixture Design (September 2025 to Present)

Undergrad Student Technician, HPM Team, August 2023 to August 2025

• Delivered 85+ deployed mechanical designs for fab maintenance over two years, several standardized for use across the entire factory.

• Worked across the full range of fabrication methods, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and sheet metal, choosing materials and processes based on cost, lead time, and load requirements.

• Validated designs through hand calculations, SolidWorks FEA, and physical prototyping, and worked directly with outside vendors from CAD file to finished part.

• Reverse engineered and modeled a 161 piece library of tools and fixtures, and built the internal system used to track and standardize designs across all four shifts.

• In house designs consistently replaced third party vendor parts at a fraction of the cost, cutting vendor spend by over 80% on the parts affected.

Portland State Aerospace Society 

• Designed, validated, and helped manufacture parts for PSAS rockets and CubeSats.

• Built and flew a Level 1 high power amateur rocket.

• Senior capstone project, Project Lazarus, a regeneratively cooled LOX/IPA rocket engine, was sponsored by PSAS.

Helicopter Mechanic, Oregon Army National Guard (December 2021 - Present)

• Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair UH-60 Blackhawk powertrain, hydraulic, flight control, airframe, and electrical systems.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance including phase inspections, component removal and installation, rigging and adjustment, and operational checks.

• Performed critical aircraft maintenance including inspection measurements, corrosion inspection and removal, and surface repair.

• Maintain technical repair logs and aircraft historical records to technical manual and airworthiness standards.

• Hold an active Secret security clearance 

Computer Action Team (September 2019 - June 2020)

• Provided IT support across 2,000+ Windows and Linux/Unix systems for MCECS faculty and staff.

• Collaborated with 10+ volunteers on system upgrades.

FIRST Tech Challenge (September 2017 - June 2020)

• Led a 12 member team building, programming, and competing with robots for competition.

• Took on programming for all three of the school's FIRST teams after realizing none of them had a programmer, developing autonomous and manual navigation in Java and C++.

• Achieved top five placements in three competitions and took the school to the State Championships for the first time in school history.
